I’m noticing there are apples everywhere, not only on the ground outside, but all over in the blogging world as well. I had a few apples in the refrigerator, not enough to make a pie, but I was hungry for exactly that, a pie. This was the easiest, fastest thing I could think up. Apple Pie Pockets. And they taste delicious with maple walnut icecream.
Apple Pie Pockets
-
2 Tortilla’s
-
1 Apple
-
1/2 Tablespoon flour
-
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
-
1 teaspoon cinnamon
-
1/4 cup sugar
-
some soft butter or margarine
Cut the apple in half then into bite sized pieces. Put the apple pieces into a bowl and mix with flour, nutmeg, cinnamon, and sugar. Spoon into tortilla and fold, pinning down with toothpicks. Brush the butter or margarine on top. Bake in a 350 degree F. oven until the tops are golden brown.
*Note: You can put as much spice as you like in, it doesn’t change the recipe tons.
The outside of these is crunchy while the inside is soft and juicy. Enjoy!

Apple pie pockets sound delicious! Which reminds me I have to make an apple pie soon. . .
That looks delicious! I wish you would make that for me sometime…by the way, was it yogurt ice cream as you have mentioned a dairy issue previously?
Always yogurt icecream. It’s my favorite.
