Went to see Fame

The computer wasn’t working yesterday so I couldn’t post…I went to see Fame this weekend and I fell in love. I would not only like to buy the movie when it comes out, but the soundtrack as well. Amazingly done. I haven’t seen the original Fame but I loved this remake. I’d love to see it on Broadway.  I’m suggesting it to every female who enjoys any musical type of movie!

Mug Cake…

mmmm…I was restless so I decided to make mug cake. It looks amazing.
  Here’s the recipe:
4 Tablespoons Flour
1/4 teaspoon baking powder
4 Tablespoons sugar
2 Tablespoons Cocoa
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
In a mug mix well and add
1 egg 2 large eggs
2 Tablespoons Soymilk rice milk
1Tablespoon Water                                    or just do 3 Tablespoons Milk and skip the Soymilk and Water
3 Tablespoons Oil
Pour into 2 coffee mugs, Mix well, and add walnuts or chocolate chunks (both are optional). Microwave for 2 minutes. More or less is fine. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy.

It’s okay if it comes out fluffier, I halfed the recipe!

                                                                   Bon Apetit!!!

Finished Another Book

Yesterday was amazingly warm for an Autumn day. I really hope the warm weather keeps up. I just finished a book called Distant Waves by Suzanne Weyn. The book is about five sisters making their way in the world. It’s adventerous, but of-course, their is some romance. A wonderfully written book! My Kudos goes to you Suzanne Weyn, amazing! I would definitely suggest that people read it!

Smoothies and T.V. Shows

I learnt how to make an Orange Julius and boy does it taste good. I had to switch the milk with soy milk, because of my dairy allergy, but it made it taste even more like an orange julius. Tonight is the premier of Being Erica and I am psyched!!! I’m glad that it’s coming back on…and So You Think You Can Dance Canada is on tonight, the final twelve couples, it should be interesting!

On the move

Shopping, shopping, shopping. It may have been a mere hour, but I found four things I liked and three I bought. I really do love shopping but it is good to be home. I’ve been busy all day, so it feels good to put my feet up and relax. Speaking of Relaxing, I did not enjoy the Sunshine Cleaners at all. It had inappropriate scenes and wasn’t good! This is just my view, although I wouldn’t reccomend it to anyboday out there. There are a couple of movies that I’d like to see, but they can wait. I’m excited for the new Seasons of “Being Erica” [starting Tuesday, September 22]  and “Heartland”[starting Sunday, October 4]. They are two shows that I have not missed an episode of. *Yawn* I’m getting tired…I should go rest a bit. Good bye my dear friend She said in an english accent. I shall miss you dearly.

I love baking, it’s so calming and, more often that not, satisfying. This evening we baked some blueberry muffins. I haven’t tried them yet but I have some pictures.

Here’s before they went into the oven…

Here’s after they baked. The picture is a bit blurry but this is what they look like…mmmm. Bon apetite!
